The Panagia Chrysorrogiatissa monastery is nestled in a beautiful landscape below the village of Pano Panagia. The complex dates back to the 12th century and is dedicated to the "Holy Virgin of the Golden Pomegranate". The current church with the beautiful bell tower dates from 1770.
Opening times: May to August, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. September to April, daily from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
