This is a great flat bikeway along a quaint little canal, and part of the greater RAVeL trail network. The countryside along the way is beautiful.

From Geraardsbergen one can cycle along the Dender river down to Ath where it connects with the Ath-Blaton canal. The river Dender meanders slowly and lazy through the landscape, with exquisite views on the lush green fields and trees all around.
