The Spreewald private brewery was built in 1788 at a historical location on the grounds of the country inn “Zum green Strand der Spree” in the picturesque Spreewald village of Schlepzig. The year in the name documents the point in time at which the pub, distilling and brewing rights were granted to the inn that already existed here. This old tradition was revived. This created a brewery like out of a picture book. The copper kettles are presented on a kind of stage, where they can be easily observed by all guests with the master brewer as the main actor.

Wonderful destination. Here you can enjoy the typical Spreewald cuisine. Whether in the beer garden, in the inn or at the fixed snack stand, everyone will find something. Even higher proof is brewed from fruits from your own garden.
