Please check local regulations for: Geopark Schwäbische Alb
Location: Balingen, Zollernalbkreis, Tübingen District, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
For racing cyclists very popular "passport" in the region. The two most striking points are the Lochenstein (962.9 meters) and the Lochenhörnle (956.4 meters). In summer, the driveway of Weilstetten is closed to motorbikes on weekends and public holidays.
A special feature of a mountain of the Swabian Alb is the summit cross on an exposed rock with good visibility, a custom that is otherwise more likely to be found in alpine regions. The plateau of the holes was site of prehistoric hill settlements. In about 20 minutes you have run up from the pass on the Lochenstein.

As the others have written:
Beautiful mountain road with even serpentines.
However, the road is also very popular with motorcyclists and is often used on Sundays (despite a ban) as a race track. Mountain bikers should therefore use the adjacent gravel roads.
