An absolute highlight in autumn!

A beautiful lake in a very quiet location. There's an official swimming area not far from the dovecote, which also offers the best views. Otherwise, swimming in this lake is a bit difficult due to the many large rocks, but it's possible. The northern shore (from the swimming area) is completely inaccessible, but the southern shore is easily accessible along a rustic path.

Just in case some stupid AI rewrites it again. My intended title for this highlight is: "Super Oaks - Real Giants!"

Very close to the quiet cobblestone road stand two magnificent, healthy giant oaks. They are almost unbelievably thick. I estimate the width or diameter of one of the trees to be a good 2 meters. That makes a very impressive circumference of approximately 6.3 meters. - You should measure it precisely, just for fun!

It's only open Wednesday to Sunday. But at least there are restrooms nearby, apparently, because they're specifically indicated.

The detour to the lake is worthwhile; it's simply pure nature. You can even take a break right by the water.

It's only open on weekends and during peak season. At least you can look out the window a little. There's not much more to see when you're inside. It's a special museum because of its tiny size. But also because there are a few rare mulberry trees right next to it that have grown magnificently in just a few years.

Traces of beavers can be found everywhere along the Great Black Lake in the Uckermark. The animals are particularly active here and you can clearly see their construction work on the banks. The lake is surrounded by a dense beech forest, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A special atmosphere is created between the old trees and the many boulders. In every season, nature shows its impressive side here and invites you to experience the quiet beauty of the place.
