The Top 18 Gorges around Eisenach

After three weeks of hiking in Thuringia, I can say that this is the most beautiful natural spectacle I have seen. Great how the path meanders through the moss-covered rocks of the gorge.

We started early and had the gorge almost to ourselves. An absolute highlight, and not just for children - high rocks, water and plants create a unique backdrop.

The Landgrafenschlucht is very attractive and you can easily combine it as a circular route with the Drachenschlucht.

This small gorge is an alternative to the Landgrafen- and Drachenschlucht. It can be easily reached on foot or by bike. Halfway along the way, a remarkable waterfall awaits curious guests.
