Myllyjärvi Lake is a beautiful little spot to go swimming. It's pretty small, so it can get crowded, but since not many people know about it, you usually find a parking spot in the small lot. There's no sandy beach, so people jump straight into the water from the rocks or the small quay on site. It’s an official beach, so the water is regularly checked and is pretty refreshing, even if it looks a bit cloudy. There is also an outdoor toilet available. Since it’s quite out of the way, you need a car to get here. Many folks head there late in the evening during summer, when the sun stays up late, and it’s a lot quieter.

Technically the cars should try driving in the middle, leaving the shoulder to cyclists and pedestrians but the markings system is so rare that even experienced drivers sometimes get confused here.
