You climb up a mountain slope, where the trail gets steeper and steeper. The path shows up in different characters. From the alp road to the ridge path, with a beautiful view of the mountain landscape. Where the green crest breaks off steeply, the obligatory summit cross awaits you. Nevertheless, it is not the summit, which is why you go on an ascent of Blasenka. It's the total hike that makes this tour so worthwhile. Especially the variety makes this tour to who it is. Just fantastic!
From the parking lot in Fontanella-Faschina, a freight path leads you up to Bartholomäus Alpe. From here you follow the hiking trail "Zafernrundweg". At the Grätle the path leads you further below the Zafernhorn towards Hubertuskapelle. It is not far from here until the path branches off to the right to the top of the Zafernhorn. The detour is well worth it: from the summit at 2,107 meters you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges. You hike back on the actual path and over the Zafernmaisäß back to Fontanella-Faschina.
