Just remember, on Sundays, you can take your bike with you on the subway as well as on the S-Bahn, so you don't need to worry about breaking any rules. The best bike rides are the ones where you can get on the bike right outside the front door. That's why it's off right in the middle of the city, up to the heights for a great view over Stuttgart and past some of the most beautiful squares in the city.At Marienplatz we start up the Alte Weinsteige. This is a fairly steep and long climb, of which some short passages are paved. But the view you can enjoy on the road is priceless. To shorten this city tour, you can take the rack railway "Zacke" up the vineyards for the first section.Once at the top, it's relaxed on the height along the TV tower and then immediately continue to the telecommunications tower. From here you can enjoy a three-kilometer descent to Eugensplatz from where you have a great view of Stuttgart's city center again. Then it goes down in the middle of the city to the famous opera house in the castle garden.Actually, the tour could be over here now, because the castle garden invites you to just lie down in the grass in the sun. But if you still have energy, it's on to the beautiful lake and back to the starting point at Marienplatz. And if you still have not had enough, you can combine this tour from the Feuersee with the second Stuttgart City Tour, which leads you to the Killesberg.

From there it goes without detours and quite steeply up to the birch head, also known as Monte Scherbelino. Incidentally, this is the highest point of the tour, from here it goes downhill, where you have to be prepared in between for one or the other small increase.Via the vantage point at the Bismarkturm, you will reach the altitude park Killesberg, which is a dream of a park and invites you to linger. Passing the architectural highlight and world heritage site, the Weissenhofsiedlung, the tour takes you to the Chinese Garden, which will beam you into the Land of Smiles. Afterwards it goes through the city back to the starting point at the lake Feuersee.

The motto of this tour is pure nature at the gates of Stuttgart. On this tour you can relax, enjoy idyllic nature and admire one of the most beautiful castles in the region. It goes west of Stuttgart through the enchanting forest on the Bear Lake to the castle Solitude.Let's start in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. Here you come for example with the tram. From there it goes off into the forest and up to the height. On the way you will pass the black and red deer enclosure where you can marvel at wild boars, deer and deer.Continue through the quiet forest to the wonderful Bear Lake. Here you can look forward to almost untouched nature on the way to Bärenschlössle. Arriving at the Bärenschlössle, the beer garden invites you to a refreshment, which you might also need for the last ascent to the Solitude. The grand finale of the tour is undoubtedly the Solitude Castle, which fascinates with its architecture. In addition, you have a great view of Stuttgart and the surrounding area from this location. The bike tour is crowned at the end by the rapid dead straight down the Solitudestraße down to the starting point.

This wonderful route starts outside of Stuttgart in the picturesque Marbach. From there you drive along the Neckar back to the state capital. On the largely flat tour you can enjoy not only the quiet bike paths, but also the beautiful route, which shows you the chocolate side of the Neckar and the surrounding vineyards. After Marbach you come very comfortable with the S-Bahn. From the station of the pretty medieval city, which is also known as the birthplace of Friedrich Schiller, it starts directly with the tour, which leads you straight to the Neckar. For the next 20 kilometers, you will always drive along the river and can look forward to beautiful vineyards or wide fields and meadows along the way. There are many rest and refreshment stops along the way. In summer, you can even stop at the outdoor pool Hoheneck to cool off.The more you approach Stuttgart, the more urban the scenery becomes. Nevertheless, you can look forward to idyllic places like the Max-Eyth-Lake and even in the middle of the city relaxed cycling in the huge Rosensteinpark is guaranteed, which will take you directly to the main station.

This excursion takes you out of Stuttgart to the magical baroque city of Ludwigsburg. There you can admire the three beautiful castles of the city in the footsteps of Duke Eberhard Ludwig of Württemberg. With the S-Bahn or the regional train you are in a snap in Ludwigsburg. From the train station you go to Bärenwiese from where you already have a great view of the Residenzschloss. It definitely pays to pay a visit to the castle. However, you have to get off briefly, because in the park, the Blooming Baroque, cycling is not allowed.Continue past the castle into the Favoritepark. In the nature reserve you can admire besides deer and deer also the castle Favorite. Then it goes straight over the planet path to the Seeschloss Monrepos. Walking around the lake you have the best view of the castle. This easy bike ride is also great for families. Children especially love the free-roaming animals in the Favoritepark. Further program points could be a boat trip on the Monrepossee or a visit to the fairytale park in the Blooming Baroque.

For this tour, it is worth to pack the binoculars, because today there is a lot to see. It goes up to the Fildern. From the Filderhoe plateau you have a fantastic view of the surrounding villages and the Swabian Alb. But not only that, thanks to the Stuttgart airport, this is the top location to watch planes. You start in Filderstadt at the S-Bahn station. From there it's relaxed to the airport, where you can make your first stop and watch the planes take off and land. Continue through the town of Neuhausen, which scores with romantic half-timbered houses. Here is a good opportunity to strengthen you again, because from now on it goes up and down on the beautiful Fildern. The first climb is due to the forest floor a bit more demanding than the next, leading on paved roads to the beautiful vantage points. You may feel the small increases in your legs, but the view you can enjoy afterwards is just fantastic. In any case, it is always worthwhile to descend here and let your gaze wander over the Swabian Alb.After you have arrived at the highest point of the tour, it goes with a relaxed descent back to the starting point in Filderstadt.
