The best bike rides are the ones where you can get on the bike right outside the front door. That's why it's off right in the middle of the city, up to the heights for a great view over Stuttgart and past some of the most beautiful squares in the city.At Marienplatz we start up the Alte Weinsteige. This is a fairly steep and long climb, of which some short passages are paved. But the view you can enjoy on the road is priceless. To shorten this city tour, you can take the rack railway "Zacke" up the vineyards for the first section.Once at the top, it's relaxed on the height along the TV tower and then immediately continue to the telecommunications tower. From here you can enjoy a three-kilometer descent to Eugensplatz from where you have a great view of Stuttgart's city center again. Then it goes down in the middle of the city to the famous opera house in the castle garden.Actually, the tour could be over here now, because the castle garden invites you to just lie down in the grass in the sun. But if you still have energy, it's on to the beautiful lake and back to the starting point at Marienplatz. And if you still have not had enough, you can combine this tour from the Feuersee with the second Stuttgart City Tour, which leads you to the Killesberg.
With this tour you can explore some of the most beautiful places in your city and find that it is often the most beautiful at home.
