Follow the forest road to Jerry Noddle, a wooded headland on the northern edge of Dalby Forest. From here, enjoy spectacular views over Upper Langdale Valley. On the same spot, do not miss the Winged Sheep Aedicula (a shrine), a 2021 sculpture by Fiona Bowley carved in a block of sandstone.
Return on the same forest road.

This trail is a shorter alternative of the full Adderstone Rigg trail. Starting at Adderstone's Field, you will walk through the pleasant Dalby Forest and pass Dixon's Hollow on the way, all on the flat. A good stroll for walkers of any kind, including families with children.

You will walk past a 'rabbit type' (which this walk takes its name from), meaning a rabbit trap: these are an important part of Dalby’s history when rabbits were farmed for fur.
