La Route des Vins, this capricious ribbon that runs along the eastern slope of the Vosges, unwinds quietly on the mountainside, passes through a hundred wine-growing communes and reviews fifty or so terroirs "A.O.C. Alsace Grand cru".
Running in parallel, the Véloroute du Vignoble uses old railway lines, sections of the old Roman road, as well as many paths between the vines.
It passes through a postcard landscape: ruins of medieval castles, flowery villages, Romanesque abbeys, undulating vines, welcoming winstubs...
Throughout the journey, take the time to meet the winemakers, taste their wines and lose yourself in the streets of medieval cities!
