Fields lined with hedges, vibrant rhododendrons, picturesque rivers and canals, fairytale sandstone castles and predominantly flat routes await you when cycling in the beautiful Münsterland park landscape. These are the best ingredients for carefree cycling Tours that promise variety, entertainment and relaxation.

In this Collection, we reveal six leisurely cycling Tours in Münsterland. They are between 25 and 60 kilometres (16 - 37 mi) long and mostly follow flat paths. Only the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest require some climbing on some of the loops. With an e-bike, however, you can master these almost effortlessly.

North of Münster, you’ll explore Ibbenbüren and the surrounding area on two different routes. You’ll discover the impressive Dörenther Cliffs, the Mittelland Canal and the Dortmund-Ems Canal as well as cultural highlights such as the Gravenhorst Monastery. East of Münster, you’ll cycle through the park landscape near Telgte, Warendorf and Sassenberg. The Ems and Bever rivers flow through beautiful landscapes where idyllic lakes invite you to swim and relax. South of Münster, in Nordkirchen, you can embark on a very special circuit with colourful sculptures of cows. This is the art exhibition ‘Die Kühe sind los’ (The cows are loose) – a funny and unique experience.

No matter which Tour you choose, you’ll experience the nature and culture of the Münsterland park landscape in a leisurely and relaxing way. Have fun!
