Flowing trails, steep climbs and relaxed descents – the region around the Hochkönig with the villages of Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach is a true mountain bike paradise. Situated in the south of Salzburg Land, it has perfectly developed cycle path networks that lead through the impressive Hochkönig massif. You’ll encounter picturesque nature and countless rustic stops where you can enjoy well-deserved breaks. Doesn’t that sound ideal for your next biking holiday?

In this Collection, we'll send you on 12 unforgettable Tours with your beloved bike. You’ll find long routes that are ideal for day trips, with time to stop for refreshments and to enjoy the view en route, as well as relaxed evening tours. The trails are action-packed with plenty of memorable climbs. One thing is for sure – there isn't a lack of variety in these latitudes!

The region around the Hochkönig is well-equipped for e-bikes, with a designated e-bike trail network with 24 charging stations. We’ve included a couple of e-bike Tours in this Collection.

If you choose a route that starts and finishes in different places or if you just run out of steam, you can easily catch a bike taxi. There are also several summer mountain railways that transport you and your bike straight up the mountain.
