A really "classic" route, but you should note two points:
1.) Especially in good weather, after work and at the weekend, the route at the main dike is now extremely frequented by day trippers, motorcyclists, etc. For road cyclists, the parallel dike is the better, because it is much quieter alternative.
2.) The Marschbahndamm is a good bike path, but not necessarily for racing cyclists, because large parts as a two-plate path with green in the middle and partly. quite rough joints are made. There are also many walkers with dogs or families with children, some of whom are can hardly overtake.
Overall, there are better routes for a relaxed after-work session.
