Dillenburg is home to a large number of hiking trails. In addition to the Rothaarsteig, the WesterwaldSteig and the Lahn-Dill-Bergland-Pfad, several themed hiking trails also provide a special experience.

This area in western Germany is not only wonderful for hiking. Dillenburg also has a lot to offer in terms of culture and history – after all, it is the cradle of the Dutch royal family.

And, if you’d like to hike our region in several days, we can recommend the Westerwald loop of the Rothaarsteig. You'll find all the information and the stage layout in this Collection: komoot.com/collection/1946305.

So, what are you waiting for? Impressive nature and an international cultural history make exploring Dillenburg and the surrounding area a unique experience.
