The county of Bentheim in Germany is an ideal place to find moments of happiness. With your Fietse, as the bike is also called here at the border to the Netherlands, you discover cultural, culinary and natural highlights. For some, just rolling through the woods means true happiness, for others happiness means discovering picturesque villages or enjoying local delicacies. In the county and in the nearby Netherlands, all this awaits you.

You mostly follow flat paths through colourful landscapes, along idyllic rivers and to special places to stop for refreshments. You experience tranquil canals, vast forests and lively marketplaces where you can enjoy ice cream, cake, coffee and more. There are also castles, mills and museums en route.
