Road cycling in Denmark is big and has grown massively in recent years. And for good reason; the road riding here in Denmark is fantastic. You'll find endless tarmac of all kinds well suited for riding, as well as good infrastructure and breathtaking landscapes.
Denmark is predominantly flat, but don't be fooled. The last Ice Age created endless ridges and hills, that nowadays result in beautiful local roads with climbs, descents, twists and turns. A road cyclist's paradise.
You'll never be far away from good opportunities for a coffee stop or bike repair, if needed. The train network covers most of Sealand too, so if you ever feel like shortening a ride, the nearest S-train station won't be far away.

This Tour takes you out west near Roskilde Fjord. It won't take long before you find yourself in the countryside with lots of small quiet roads.
Special points of interest are found in the hills around Veksø. The Ice Age has created some quite iconic climbs, that you'll have to tackle twice: both on…
This Tour uses some of my favourite roads in the northern part of Sealand. It starts out heading north through some of the largest forests in the area.
From here you head out into the countryside. You'll always find yourself far away from the biggest roads, close to the beautiful nature on the winding…
This Tour heads into the landscape close to Roskilde. It's remote, quiet and full of local history.
In the small towns north-east of Roskilde you'll find houses and farms that are around 100 years old or more. They still serve as homes, since they have been well looked after. Notice how the roads feel…
