Auf einer Strecke von 85 bzw. 91 Kilometern führt diese Traumroute den Wanderer von Herborn/Dillenburg nach Marburg mitten durch den Naturpark Lahn-Dill-Bergland. Weiträumige Waldgebiete, glitzernde Wasserflächen, reizvolle Heiden, grüne Wiesen und naturnahe Felder eröffnen immer wieder neue traumhafte Perspektiven. Unvermutet auftauchende Felslandschaften, aufgelassene Steinbrüche, romantische Schlösser und lange schon verlassene Burgruinen garantieren abwechslungsreiche Wandererlebnisse.

Der Lahn-Dill-Bergland-Pfad hat nicht nur die gleiche Premium-Qualität wie die anderen großen deutschen Steige, er verbindet diese auch miteinander. Der Rothaarsteig wird über Haiger, Dillenburg und Marburg mit dem Rennsteig verbunden. Die Anbindung des neuen Rheinsteigs kommt über den Westerwaldsteig in Herborn. Von Marburg aus geht es weiter über den Burgwaldpfad, der in Frankenberg Anbindung an den Ederhöhenweg hat und über den Lahnhöhenweg nach Bad Ems, sowie auf den Spuren der Heiligen Elisabeth bis nach Thüringen.

Aufgrund von Stürmen zu Beginn des Jahres können auf dem Lahn-Dill-Bergland-Pfad weiterhin Hindernisse wie umgestürzte Bäume oder Äste auf den Wegen liegen. Wir bemühen uns, die Schäden zeitnah zu beseitigen – aufgrund des Ausmaßes kann es jedoch in den nächsten Wochen noch zu Einschränkungen kommen. Wir bitten um ihr Verständnis und wünschen Ihnen dennoch schöne Wandererlebnisse!

    The first stage of the Lahn-Dill-Bergland-Path is 13 kilometers long and leads from Dillenburg to Bicken. The Lahn-Dill-Bergland-Path starts at the hiking portal in the courtyard garden of the Hessian State Stud. From there it offers a direct connection to the Rothaarsteig.
