Hike along one of Germany’s most beautiful rivers, visit 5,000-year-old historical sites, take a refreshing dip, try out activities and indulge in delicious food – the Rhein-Main-Verkehrverbund in south and central Hesse makes this possible.

The RMV transport network covers large parts of Hessen, meaning you can easily travel to nature spots and cultural sites with local public transport. In this Collection, we introduce you to the region on routes that are easy to reach with RMV public transport. Every Tour has great culinary delights, with at least one option for lunch and dinner.

All the Tours shown here are one–way Tours from one station to the next where you can hop on a train back to the start. You can easily split or shorten the hikes to suit your taste; we’ve noted stations and bus stops en route in the Tour descriptions. Ignore these if you plan to hike the Tours in their entirety.

No matter whether you are a fitness fanatic, culture enthusiast, nature lover, travelling alone or with the whole family, there’s something for everyone here. We hope you have fun choosing your personal Tour!
