A family hike in the Swiss mountains: if you like being out in nature, there's hardly anything better! And if it's in the region around Flims Laax, it's hard to beat the shared experience! Because no matter how strong the hiking legs are, the hiking trails through the mountains of Flims Laax will inspire anyone who enjoys walking over hill and dale.

A total of 250 kilometers of hiking trails await you and your hiking buddies. They sometimes lead over dizzying ridges, sometimes along crystal-clear mountain streams and sometimes to the shores of enchanted mountain lakes. In between, you can enjoy wonderful trails across lush green alpine meadows and through magical forests.

A few of our tours will appeal to younger hikers in particular. And that's exactly what we present to you in this collection: a collection of the most beautiful family tours around Flims Laax. We have an archery course, an exciting water hike and a challenging via ferrata on offer. Sometimes you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama, other times you and your offspring can take a boat trip across the Connbächli. Either way, there's plenty of fun to be had with the family, because that's what we're all about.

If your active grandparents are also with you, or your legs are not quite as fit yet, you can save energy with our mountain railroads from Flims and Laax and save yourself the first few meters in altitude. A gondola ride with a view of the high alpine landscape is always a fantastic experience anyway! What's more, our local buses will take you to the furthest valley or the most remote corner. This increases your hiking radius or saves you a longer return journey to your destination: you can find more information at: flimslaax.com/transport.

What makes our region even more special, besides its magical forests and majestic mountains, is the abundance of water flowing through it. The water trail makes this clearer than any description: Over seven bridges, some of them boldly designed, built by the famous Graubünden bridge builder Jürg Conzett
