    1. We simply had to walk the steep switchbacks to the Rifugio Forcela di Pordoi. Once at the top, incredible scenery and clear views in all directions awaited us. Only the snow kept us from hiking Piz Boe. Crampons will definitely be our next purchase. 😁💪

    1. A classical concert at 2243 meters in the Dolomites near the Vaiolet Hut sounds interesting, so we hopped on our bikes and walked a bit uphill. There stood the five music students in the cool 5 degrees Celsius, listening to enchanting sounds from a bygone era. An incredible experience and atmosphere

    1. Off to Lago d'Antermoia, that was the plan, but the steep and steady climb over the mountain was reality 😅 Absolutely worth it, with plenty of sunshine. And the reward was cake and a shandy (I know, a strange combination☺️) at the beautifully situated Antermoia huts at a good 2500 meters. The Dolos never cease to amaze.

    1. A relatively easy hike up Monte Seceda, an Instagram hotspot, which actually has a small barrier in the last 100 meters to the photo point, which opens if you give it €5. We skipped that, along with the hundreds of sneaker-wearing tourists who were whisked up by cable car. Nevertheless, it's definitely

    1. Today, just a short hike from the campsite. For one thing, the weather is rather poor, and for another, my sister is on her way. Just before the summit, I got the message that she'd be there around noon, so I aborted the hike and headed full speed down. The two of them arrived barely five minutes after

    1. Winter wonderland in the Dolomites, wonderful tour to the Vajiolet Hut, we skipped the KS due to icy ropes and snow, but I finally gave up on my Salewas 😂 After the third sole, it's time for new ones anyway 🫶🏽

    1. Let's take a relaxing ride...a bit of biking, a bit of hiking, and then this is what we came up with. 😂 Away from the mainstream, at almost 2,700 meters, to an incredibly beautiful peak. Sure, the Rosengarten is tempting, but the region has much more to offer, without mass tourism and show-off glamour. We ♥️ the Dolomites.
