Today a short tour to the huts in the area. All well attended and well received. A delegation from the Donnersberger Wackenbhupser met at the Kronbuch hut! A relaxed atmosphere everywhere. The people just enjoyed the good weather! The views from the Kupferberghütte are fantastic again! Unfortunately the snack is already sold out! Was mega something going on!

Today, considering the beautiful weather, tackled the classic. That means: "... the mountain always goes!" Via the standard route, Keiperweg, Kronbuche, Groh Rondell down to Krumkehr (Freßplatz). Leave your glasses on the Kronbuch, back the mountain and protect your watery eyes again. Again down to Krumkehr and over the Hühnerberg to the Ludwigsturm. At the kiosk at the "sales manager" break with "the world's best Riesling spritzer in the world" and then high-speed down the Wildensteiner Tal to the Keltengarten. Got too far to the left in a curve, lurched around in the gravel and just got the curve. If I had got into botany, I would have been the chance discovery of a mushroom picker sometime in a few years. Continue over the Saufelsen back up to the Krumkehr and over the Siebenorene path to the Kronbuchhütte. Take a short break, enjoy the silence and then take the favorite path (Keiperweg) back home. It was a nice tour through the autumn forest, pleasant in the sun, already fresh in the shade! Now made nice (if it helps) and then to the regulars' table!

Today a tour to the Lambert Cross was announced again. With cool, autumnal temperatures and a lot of early morning dew, it went via Gonbach, the stump forest court, past the Wattenheimer Häuschen to the Friedwald. Vo there in a loop to the Lambert Cross. It was very busy, probably due to the holidays. Since the little hunger caused a stir, I decided to have a small snack. Currywurst always works, I thought to myself and ordered. What then came out of the kitchen was overwhelming for me. A monster or two curry sausages were on the plate and it happened as it had to - I capitulated halfway through. I was just exhausted! The next time there will be nothing for breakfast and nothing to drink on the way, so that the next snack will fit in. The descent was then delayed by a long rain shower, which the weather report once again did not have on the screen (what do they actually learn in their training?)! But there is enough to drink in the hut, so waiting is quite pleasant. The return trip with a full stomach was a bit more strenuous and even wetter with one or the other pour! Rolled out of the forest near Gonbach and the whole Donnersberg and the surrounding area in the most beautiful sunshine. Always a nice tour to the Lambertskreuz, but more pleasant in summer, as you then have longer light!

Today on the go again on shoemaker's pony! Despite the changeable weather all huts reached without a "shower"! Graduation from the "Eiserne Mann" in Imsbach, delicious! The friends, like many before, were enthusiastic about our landscape and definitely want to come back! 😁👍

Today after the "House Cleaning" we did a little round. Since it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so get on your bike today! The injured hip felt good and the lungs were also happy about the fresh air!

Today I brought my car back home. A new battery lock was due, the old one had dismantled internally, so the battery could no longer be removed. Just fill the battery, take your long johns and ear warmers out of the closet, and then the dark half of the year can come.

The younger junior tried the "Bio Bike" today! Just a short walk to the White Pit, which was managed today on the occasion of the tours booked in the Maria Pit! Still too much arm-heaviness, and the rear shock is missing!

Tried the daughter's hardtail today on a small group. Unfortunately, the geometry doesn't suit me well, too much weight on the hands and forearms. The aft part has already got used to the full suspension too much! And when it comes to downhill, my Kermit is simply fed up on the track, so I found the light hardtail a bit too nervous! But, I can still get a bike up the mountain without assistance! I keep testing, there are still two other bikes available to me without assistance!

Today I took my loyal companion Kermit to his trusted dealer for his annual wellness week, where he saw me for the first time and immediately adopted me! To neutralize the pain of separation, we did a little lap! The traditional Keiperweg took you up to the Kronbuchhütte and along well-known paths via Marienthal to the Bastenhaus. From there, relying on Schackeline von Komott, I wanted to try the KiBo Trail to reach the Kleine Residenz. Unfortunately Schackeline got out early and only told me bullshit about the route! So I ended up in the hedges again and then in a large wild boar wallow. So the confused lady was taken out of the ear and, following intuition and an innate sense of direction, found the destination via small detours! There's nothing like a good map if you have one in your backpack! My brave companion is there now and is having a good time! Now he can get to know his roommates in a completely chilled-out manner and fool around with the Dutch bikes. Next week we will go on tour again, completely refurbished. Until then, I'll probably try my daughter's "bio bike" to keep the joints supple.

After a lot of rain was announced for today, we cleared the ship around the house yesterday! And, as is so often the case, the forecasts of the weather frogs fell victim to it. But good weather today and the job already done. So I quickly pushed the battery and did a little lap. The light in the waning day in the evening was very nice and the views from my favorite trail, as always, gigantic! Schää it was! PS: Tuesday's stupid leg is still twitching, it just doesn't want to heal. Must have caught something poisonous!
