A walk around South Walney Nature Reserve. Lots of birdlife to see though binoculars are a must. Very exposed so wrap up well and the weather can change quite quickly.

A very nice town at the northern end of Lake Windermere. The countryside is a little more rugged at this end of the lake and for more me a lot more interesting. This walk takes in views of the lakes, the remains of the roman fort and the waterfall above the town. As well as letting you have a lunch break

A hike above Backbarrow taking in Bigland Barrow and Bigland Tarn. Great views.
Very boggy in parts and therefore quite slow going so take appropriate footwear and plan longer hike times.

First hiking visit to Esch. Although Esch is quite a big town with this hike within a short period of time you are completely away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Good paths, interesting terrain I shall have to come back to explore more.

A short walk at Buttermere but will be returning for a full tour of the lake. Absolutely beautiful scenery.
