The Rennsteig is always beautiful. I also wanted to visit the Bikepark again after the reopening. Flowline super👍. Downhill intense, partly with steep sections. But it was fun. The finish at the bottom by the lift could be designed differently.

Bekannte Runde bei Schwabthal. Erst steil hoch, dann das Tiefenthal runter.
Ja, ich weiß, im Sommer sollte man die Mücken-Horror-Schlucht meiden. Trotzdem wieder versucht. Wusste schon, warum ich das Tal runter laufen wollte🥴. Irre der obere Teil, noch schlimmer als je zuvor. Extremste Mückenschwärme🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰

New RockShox Lyrik Charger 3.1 suspension fork installed.
Longer cranks. Magura brake discs fitted. Better tires. A different damper mount will follow below. Very nice, the bike is fully customizable. With a whisper-quiet, small 60Nm TQ motor, it has a natural riding feel 🙂

I didn't think the first part from the top was so ultra intense. Huge steps in steep terrain. Then it got a bit better and went wonderfully over granite rock slabs.

Beautiful and strenuous round over the Cima del Monte with a few push sections. Trails like almost always on Elba very rough with many rocks. You really can't underestimate anything here. Usually comes on harder than expected.
