A much nicer day on the bike today.
Early to rise (we should have brought bivvies rather than the tent) and a couple of muddy descents and then rolling back country roads all the way to Galashiels. A couple of detours to skip out the unnecessary hills (we're both not as fit as we'd like + loaded bikes

Second part of the ride. Accidentally saved the ride after the first cafe stop. This section was brutal though, constant up and down meant little rest and a seriously sore back meant it was a struggle. Stopped with 12km to stretch the back for the last time, and had nothing left after that. My slowest
