After-work tour and men's evening "outdoor" with Rob Hefner to Lichtenfels to the Lippert brewery. Incl. Snack and 1-2 beers. Or was it 3? Or 4? :-))In any case, we went home late at night by train! :-)))

At 5 o'clock in the morning we headed for sunrise and to Sonneberg, around 3 o'clock we went with illywhacker to Lichtenfels to the Lippert brewery. It was super relaxed, on the way we picked up two great guys on our bikes and took them to the brewery. After a few beers plus a snack, we went back home by train. Successful evening with good beer and fresh air. If every day were like this ...

Today's tour was quite relaxed to drive. From Coburg, Neuses it went via Niederfüllbach, Großheirath on a flat, relaxed bike path to Schottenstein. Here there was also the first, quite steep ascent. Then we went on dirt roads to Heilgersdorf. Before Heilgersdorf came another short ascent into a forest area. Passing a Jewish cemetery, we went a few kilometers through the forest, before we went on a nice flowing trail into the village and we immediately headed towards the Scharpf brewery. You should definitely take a break here, because the beer there is a poem. You should only be there on time for the opening times, because the beer garden is quite small and quickly filled with thirsty guests, and rightly so 😜🍻

Today was finally the day when we went east. Swinging on the bicycles, it went from the Zings pier on the bike path towards Sundische Wiesen. On the bike path, you don't even notice that you're just driving away one kilometer after the other. Great for chilled biking. The beer garden on the Sundic Meadows is great. Thanks for the tip illywhacker 😜🍻.

Yesterday we were out on our bikes. Nothing spectacular, but it was still nice. We drove from Zingst to Prerow to a stretch of beach that was barely populated. Little insider tip.

Since day 3 fell victim to the bad weather, the trail technology on day 4 was of course relatively little, or nothing at all ...For this reason we just wanted to follow a prefabricated Komoot tour, which leads us into the forest near Wirtheim, runs over paved paths and then back to Bad Orb.Unfortunately, at Wirtheim, the path into the forest was blocked by a private forest company. We tried to run / push along the fence and hoped to find another way to access the forest, but: no result!Frustrated, we gave up and drove back to Bad Orb early. The whole thing was a strange story, there are quite a few Komoot highlights in the forest, but it is not passable from Wirtheim! Certainly not a problem for those familiar with the area, but not ideal for tourists! This tour was a rather disappointing end to the last day in the Spessart!

Today day two of the Bad Orb - Spessart exploration. After yesterday's tour, which was really exhausting, illywhacker and I had a somewhat more relaxed lap ahead of us. Again it went through the beautiful Spessart along its forest paths. The highlight for me was the Haseltal Trail. For my taste the most beautiful trail in the Bad Orb area.

This morning, when I uploaded the tour from yesterday, I still claimed that the Haseltal Trail was short and easy. I hereby contradict that! What we drove yesterday was not the official trail, but simply a forest trail with a highlight that was incorrectly tagged! :-)We decided to only do a small lap today, as rain was predicted for 1 p.m.Again it was mostly in the forest on very beautiful paths. There were also some sliding sections, but they were relatively short. In the end we arrived at the start of the real Haseltal Trail. This drove absolutely great. Nice flowy, with a number of turns and a few jumps were also possible. Then we drove the winter mountain trail again because it was on the way anyway. The second time it worked a little better and we felt a little safer!Let's see, maybe we'll see you again ... :-))

Yesterday the first trip in the Spessart. Start and finish was Bad Orb!The tour as a whole was great and was about 85-90% in the forest. The weather held up, which wasn't actually predicted ... :-))In Bad Orb there is a good trail network, which was partly built into our tour. The hazel trail was relatively short and easy to drive. The Don Bosco trail is a bit more difficult, but still suitable for beginners as it was mostly very flowing ...The winter mountain trail was more difficult, as there were a number of tables built in here. That was a bit too tricky for us and we drove around most of them.In the end, despite the short tour, we were finished telatively and only stopped at the Kärrners brewery, which really brews a very drinkable beer! :-))The weather today and the next few days should unfortunately not stay so good ...: - /

This morning around 10 a.m. I drove with illywhacker from our hotel directly in Bad Orb to explore the Spessart. Since at the beginning we accidentally made the end of the tour the beginning of the tour, we had to cope with a really heavy climb immediately after the first 2 km. But we noticed it in time and then quickly got to the beginning of the tour. It went over beautiful forest paths through the Spessart. The tour led an estimated 45 km only through the forest. At the end of the tour and after a lot of HM, we came to 2, 3 really great trails, which of course we couldn't leave out. We were really happy when we could treat ourselves to a beef broth and a beer, because apart from breakfast there was unfortunately no refreshment in between, as there was no inn on the way.
