Savoca from Santa Teresa di Riva
A beautiful treck through olive and lemon groves with panoramic views. A village full of history on top of the mountain. The hiking path is partially overgrown with wild bushes, but it is easily accessible. But before you get to it you should walk a while along the road.

This is a beautiful trail in the Parque Rural de Teno. It goes through laurel and pine forests which provide shade on a hot day. Lots of trees, blooming flowers, bushes and grass make the mountain slopes appear in vibrant green colour.

In this Reserve you can find two types of lava flows: aa lava, with a rough, jagged surface, known in this area as malpaises, and pahoehoe, which are ropy masses of lava with a smooth surface.

The head of the trail is situated not far from Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Only a few minutes by car. There's also a bus stop nearby, but busses don't go very often.
