Nice round, we did in the Indian Summer 😊 the Hennenköpfl still has a great view of the eastern part of the lake 😉 actually thought that was a wild rest zone in winter when the wild animals were fed 🤫

Today Sascha and I started at 8 a.m. at the Sägertal car park near Linderhof. The Klammspitze was planned. From the hut the tracks stopped and we walked a few meters to take a look at our destination. As feared, the sun shone mercilessly into the large cauldron. After a little philosophizing about line choice and risk, we decided to go to the Brunnenkopf and watch two brave girls trying their luck. Their choice of line was more than questionable for us and we hope that the heli was not aimed at them a few hours later. We decided to do a bit of freestyle to enjoy the day and also looked for our own lines (not always voluntarily given the snow conditions). After a long break with glorious weather and a premium view of the Hennenkopf, we then started the descent. A beautiful day, with great entertainment and claim! 😊

This morning quickly used the time again and set off with the neighbor in the direction of Kreuzeck. We were finally able to use the original ascent track again. Even if it is quite lightly powdered and sometimes stony, it is much more pleasant than the pure slap on the slopes. Unfortunately, like me recently, my touring partner went to the Eckenberg and so he branched off to the Olympic run after about 500 meters of altitude. The rest of the climb was brisk and with moderate traffic. The descent was ok, but occasional, poorly visible ice sheets drifted upwards from time to time to my pulse🙈.

And because it was so nice, again ☺️. Today, however, in a winter wonderland atmosphere and in good company, without time pressure and over the normal route. Despite the sun at the summit, it was not possible to linger for a long time. The wind was icy with us too. Traffic on the mountain was limited and the lack of creativity was more than worth it for us being able to leave the car behind 😇

Since we were asked by our visit to choose a tour suitable for "home office" and the remaining bottle of mulled wine was still looking for buyers, we went back to the footsteps of our last Eibsee extended tour. The circumnavigation was omitted in favor of the mulled wine and despite the option of going back with the Zugspitzbahn, everyone remained brave and walked briskly over the direct route home.

So today it was my turn again with the Wank 😉.
Actually, after it got a bit lighter at noon, I "just" wanted to get up to the Eckenberg quickly. Unfortunately, I had the feeling of wearing concrete shoes and already at the sheep's head cross I was walking on the gums. The branch to the Hüttlsteig was tempting but the torture continued. After a break of about 20 minutes, it is mandatory to go over to Wank and down the normal route to Faukenbach. My slightly bruised knee pinched a lot, but luckily it didn't let me down. So of course it didn't get the time I wanted, but at least I'm just as exhausted 😜😂.

After the last few days at full throttle, today it was only enough for a short walk to Partenkirchen with an extended tea break including a panorama ☺️. Just the thing for "licking wounds" 😉

One thing in advance: I can only recommend this circuit to experienced winter mountaineers !!!
It was fascinating to see how a beautiful summer T3 becomes a wintry, snappy T5! The Schellkopf was actually planned, but thanks to a mostly good track from the day before, we motivated ourselves and luckily continued towards Schlicht. It was tough, extremely exposed in some places and dangerous and of course brutally exhausting but: Unfortunately great 😇. The snow repeatedly forced you to climb up to II (+ mountain pines), steep detours and some tricky ridge passages with questionable, but mostly good / suitable snow conditions. However, very often without tolerance for possible errors in crash sites. Fortunately, the pictures speak for themselves why we had to tackle this round🤗. A fantastic start to 2022😊. It can go on like this! 🥰

My end of the year was a small, inconspicuous green summit in the extension of the Hohe Ziegspitz that had been on the list for a long time. I had already worked through his big brother, Rauhkopf, twice. So we started at the Ochsenhütte and on the way to the climb I noticed a few tracks on the slope. So curious afterwards. 10 minutes later I found myself at the hunter's seat and without a path. So continue along the stream to my right. Unfortunately, in the distance I saw a 50m steep wall with a waterfall so to the left to the next "ditch". Here it was really steep on all fours through the grass ridges along a ramp and then with a few T4 1 spots up over the narrow hump. After that was roughly in the direction of the hiking trail. That I found a line through this formation, however, was also more luck than brains 😉. But sometimes it is also part of it 😇
