Nach der gestrigen Anreise über Florenz und Siena durch die südliche Toskana nach Bolsena (s. ein paar Fotos der derzeit braunen Toskana) ging es heute über einige "Via cave" von der wunderbaren Kleinstadt Sovana nach Pitigliano. Diese "Cave" sind von den Etruskern in den Tuffstein geschlagene Hohlwege, deren ursprüngliche Bedeutung noch immer nicht erforscht ist.
