Hike. Overton circular.
There was no Number 1 walk today so i decided to take the Number 2 ,these are 8 to 10 miles without steep climbs. An interesting hike in an area new to myself.

Hike. Collecting Wild Blackberries.
I love collecting locally grow Wild Blackberries. Each plant has its own particular flavour, Tarty, Sweet, Mixture of both and almost Tasteless. I don't pick Blackberries growing by the roadside, fearfull of exhaust pollution. Keith.

Hike. Ribchester to Squire Hill and return.
An enjoyable hike with spectacular views in changeable weather conditions. This was the first hike that we had some rain in a long while, we hardly got wet at all.

On a very hot day we enjoyed a circular hike including Hutton Roof.

The Blackrod scarecrow weekend.
Unfortunately not nearly as many Scarecrow exhibits as there used to be . Susan suggested maybe hold the event every two years.

Hike; Helmshaw ,Musbury Heights, Clough Head, Rossendale Way, Hutch Bank and return to Helmshaw.
A lovely hike which in the past would have seen a lot of industrial activity. The weather was perfect, cooler than previous days with a light breeze. Keith.

Hike Barnoldswick circular.
Brian,leader of the hike qoted about 12 miles i said nudging up to 13 turned out nearly 14. An interesting hike taking in Horton, Marton Scar and East Marton.
