I did a hike around my local area today; it was a lovely autumn hike.

Circular Hike to the Easternmost Point in North Rhine-Westphalia



Today, there was a circular hike to the easternmost point in North Rhine-Westphalia, with the start/finish line being Höxter.

The first few kilometers were easy in the morning, and the temperatures were still pleasant. I took a few pictures

Homeland Hike in the Wiehen Mountains, Hüllhorst

After a long period of not hiking due to work, I decided to simply get out and breathe in the fresh air in the Wiehen Mountains today. Enjoyed the tranquility of nature and then immediately set off on a hike, taking the time for myself to recharge my batteries

After 4 months, I finally managed to lace up my hiking boots, and this time I headed to the North Rhine-Westphalia North Point.

My new hiking boots need to be broken in, so I decided to do a short day hike, starting at the Ströhen Zoo parking lot.

Today, on a November Sunday, the circular hike went through Bad Oeynhausen and, at 15 degrees, it was surprisingly warm for this time of year.



The Kaiserpalais, Museumshof and Schweden Stein were nice stops this time in Bad Oeynhausen.

Rainy hike to the lowest point in the town of Melle



On my day off, I decided to go on a hike to the lowest point in the town of Melle. It was constant rain and not a break from the weather gods.



Apart from rain and two places where I had to improvise because the paths were closed, it was a wet day of hiking.

Hiking tour on Sunday



This time it was a hiking tour north of the Wiehen Mountains.



Stops such as "Gut Stockhausen", "Totenbrücke" (Mittelland Canal), "Schloß Hollwinkel", "Schloß Hüffe" and "Haus des Gastes" (Bad Holzhausen) were popular stopovers.



The weather was pretty mixed with rain, sun and hail

Today, in practical terms, I was going on a foggy hike in the Wiehen Mountains. And no matter where I hiked, I couldn't see more than 50 meters ahead. It felt like I was in a horror film like Silent Hill.



Well, the hike went past Obermehnen, Heddinghausen, Limberg and Offelter Berg, as well as the Wiehenturm

The hike started on Monday morning at 5 a.m. on a typical November morning with a lot of fog and about 1 degree. This time the circular hike was from the municipality of Hüllhorst, via Löhne, Bad Oeynhausen, Porta Westfalica, Minden, along the Mittelland Canal and back home via Lübbecke.
