About Strampelpfade

Den Rob Roy Way in Schottland:

Verschoben auf 2022: Hebridian Way in Schottland.
Verschoben: Lee Trail und Eisleck Trail ind Luxemburg/Belgien.
Gemacht: Soonwaldsteig: strampelpfade.de/category/heimat/hunsrueck/soonwaldsteig
Gemacht: Ahrsteig

Our last day before the return journey, which will take almost 3 days. Therefore, as a conclusion, a coastal and beach hike. This time with a dog, and of course he was enthusiastic.

The most beautiful hiking day so far. Over hill and dale, across country. What would the world be without the John o'Groats Trail

After an unplanned rest day yesterday, a little finish on the Moray Coast Trail today. The tide wasn't back early in the morning, so we were able to walk on the wet beach for a long time. Then off into the dunes and admire the rough coast. A little foretaste of the JoG trail, because today we drive to

Arrived at Speyside Way terminus. A sunny day, Seals at the booth, what more could you ask for.

Sun from start to finish. The penultimate day on the Speyside Way was a lot of tarmac but also great views. You can already feel the sea and see it in the distance.

Kilometers on the Spey expired today. The route goes over the old railway line and unfortunately far too rarely gives a clear view of the Spey. The designated campsite in the park no longer really exists. Kei toilet, no water, which wouldn't be too bad. But knee-high grass with a tick alert. So luxury

The second part today. From Ballindalloch Castle bus station to the public campground at the old railway station in Cragganmore. I also met a hiker on the bus who didn't want to hike between cattle and their offspring.

Fog! We've been lucky and had a cool morning so far. Now we are waiting for the bus, because the sun is already ready to drive away the fog. It's still a pity that we can't walk this stage, but cows with calves and dogs, no thanks.

Shortened stage today because of the heat (the dog doesn't like that). In addition, my black eye (fall on Saturday) is noticeable today. That all fits quite well because tomorrow we would have to bypass the stage from Cromdale on the road as it goes through pastureland. Since it's supposed to be that

The most beautiful day so far. I just say birchwood and pines and heather and blueberries and insects and birds and bog and sun and happiness
