In order to shake off the ballast of the old year, we went to Elzach today in spring-like weather. Unfortunately, Komoot had other plans than me and wanted to take several breaks, but I didn't want any. Therefore, the recording is unfortunately incorrect, but the tour is well signposted and easy to find even without a GPX track.
Happy news to you and always on a good path! May you never lose your bearings. 🤗

Only recently gone, but I really wanted to see the Feldsee in the bright autumn colors. And since my companion had never been there, the decision had been made. With perfect autumn weather, we went back to the Feldbergsteig. Started at the Rinken parking lot at a cool 2 degrees, enjoyed the tranquility and the sun at the Feldsee, then on the Seebuck with the icy wind the finest alpine panorama. Then on the descent over the Zastler Loch one or the other slide (yes, it is icy in places) and at the end of the day a cozy coffee and cake. What a perfect day 🥰

Today was not the way the goal but the summit. Since I already know the Belchensteig, it was clear that it could not hold a candle to yesterday's Feldbergsteig. Nevertheless, it started at the Wiedener Eck and followed the Belchensteig. The route was changed in front of the Multen Inn and, in my opinion, not for the better. You now follow a steep forest path into the forest, very unspectacular. I mostly followed the way to the summit. I didn't really want to go down the north side. So descended again with an alpine panorama and a view of the Feldberg to the valley station. Then followed the winter variant and then again briefly on the way there. In the forest, I spontaneously followed the yellow diamond in the direction of the Wiedener Eck in order to come back to the Belchensteig later.

Today after a long time I walked the Feldbergsteig again. The journey was a bit adventurous. Since I come by car and don't want to pay a lot of money for a parking garage, I start at the Rinken hiking car park. This also has the advantage that you basically start at the Feldsee and first scrub a lot of altitude and at the end only have a nice descent through a small gorge.
Since the Rinkenstrasse is currently closed in sections, one is adventurously diverted through the forest off road.
I actually remembered the climb as more difficult. There was only storm damage on the last descent from Baldenweger Buck through the small gorge. It was also quite swampy there, so we really can't complain about drought this year. Nevertheless, everything is easy to walk on and just fantastically beautiful. ☺️
