Cracking route around the lakes
Parked up in Coniston. ,headed up to Tibberthwaite, Hodge Close , Iron Keld , Chesters for a coffee , over to Elterwater then back . Lost a battery cover yesterday, miraculously found it today 🥳!! A few new trails for me , love riding in the Lakes 🥰

Wetter than an Otters pocket
Weather wasn’t forecast good but I was determined to get out . First hour was ok but it progressively got wetter and wetter . Instead of the circular route I normally do , when I got to the Strawberry Duck and after a nice warm cuppa , I decided to retrace my route back to the car . Hopefully Spring will hurry the hell up ! 🙄

Minera mines , Worlds End and Airman’s monument
Lots of detours from the original route due to overgrown paths , poor signage , tricky stiles , Still it was fun , beautiful in the snow , soggy under foot
