We had the dog but beware allot of ladder stiles and the route up to the summit is very exposed and typical limestone rocks . Elaine’s tearoom on route .

Quite expensive parking at the visitors centre . £12 there are more carparks I. The area that are only £3 . So do your homework 😉

Up and over Great hill
Free on road parking at Brinscall .
A steep climb up to begin with to Great Hill , then it’s all down hill to Tockholes plantation. Lovely woodland walk to Vaghns hikers cafe , then around Roddlesworth Resevoirs , Abbey Village and the nature reserve which is an old railway…

Only one decent from the Moel Famau bridleway that is abit sketchy . Done it twice now and I don’t think I’ll ever like it 😂gets very loose and rocky . The rest is a great route just beware of trail…

Pen Cerrig Calch and Table mountain
Long but steady climb until you reach the summit , great views along the way . Wild ponies high up ♥️ great view of Table mountain as you descend . Lovely hike but not to be taken lightly 😉

Big Dales loop
Free parking on road at Clapham or carpark with loos .
Clapham tunnels can be dark and slippy so use a torch or ditch the shades 😎
