The trail begins with a steep descent to the Goroppu Gorge entrance (approx. 4.5 km). At the entrance there is a ticket office, and the entry fee is 6/4€. After that there are green, yellow and red trails, following each other, according to the difficulty. We went only to the end of the yellow trail.

There aren't many options if you want to hike IN the Osumi canyon without paid tours. At the Zanzi’s Grill you have to cross the bridge and on the right, there’ll be a painted red-white sign to the way down to the canyon. It is recommended to bring water shoes and a waterproof bag for your equipment. There are places where you have to swim, but otherwise you can easily cross the riverbed.

We found the way there Google Maps can't, but the canyon can be visited only with an experienced guide and equipment
