An easy little peaceful walk out with @SWD today. Visited the grave of T.E. Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia, then to St Nicholas' Church, along a little walking route, and back.

A very early morning set out to catch a sunrise. @SWD does love a good sunrise. To be fair, I'm quite partial to a good sunrise myself, so I can't complain too much. It was a very cold morning, and thankfully I'd left some warm items in back of the car, as I'd thought about shorts and a top. Was a quick

Just a quick catch up hike with @SWD along a multi terrain section of the JC. Not a big one, due to illness recovery for one of us, and the other deciding to stack it and roll on to an ankle whilst replying to a work email!! We lives and learns I guess. 😂

Well this was truly a treat for the senses! Weather was perfect, sunrise was just breathtaking. Was joined briefly by @SWD who had to cut her trip out short. Started off at Sidbury Hill, then had to visit the holy spring hidden on private land...sshhh, West Kennet Barrow, which you can walk in!!! Avebury

Well, what a cold venture out this was. Finally we ( @SWD ) met up for the first time this year for a hike out. Today we visited 2 ironage hillside forts, The tomb of the great archeologist George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who was pivotal in the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun, then over to

The Final hike of the year, and the final hike of the point to point challenge. It consists of starting at either Lymington or Exmouth, and reaching a destination. Then that point becomes your next start point, and you continue until you have joined all the dots. Can be done one way if you have two cars

Just a little section. Nothing fancy. Just connecting points on the larger map. Reckon this would be a great walk with a dog. There is some damage towards the end of the route, but if you fancy a little scramble along it, it's easily done. Ignore the signs saying path closed, just don't tale a pram or wheelchair along it.

The dreaded section. Miles of just shingles, upon shingles upon shingles. Not a great deal to see here really, but it all connects the dots of the whole route.

A really cold day, 🥶 REALLY COLD!! But clear blue skies, and no rain. So I'll take that. Continuing with North Dorset, today saw us around the town of Sturminster Newton.
