The via ferrata is south-facing, so it gets very warm quickly, therefore you should take enough to drink with you. The climb is a lot of fun, is excellently secured and although not at a great altitude, you climb about 300m vertically and thus have a beautiful view. The descent is partly a bit rustic.

Alpspitze, Aufstieg über Ferrata und über Jägersteig zurück ins Tal
Klasse Bergtour. Alpspitze-Feratta schöner Klettersteig, auch für Einsteiger geeignet. Abstieg über Jägersteig erfordert etwas Kondition, Belohnung ein Weg durch die schöne Berglandschaft.

Yesterday, in beautiful spring weather, I went to the Südeifel. The tour feels like one of the most beautiful Eifel hikes. It never gets boring and the rocks hold many surprises. Highly recommended, a little sure-footedness is advisable.
