Geotop-Route Niederbayern #69: Von Atting (B8) nach Sand > 162. und 163. Geotop
Heute wandern wir in und durch die Gäubodenstadt Straubing. Sie wird auch als heimliche Hauptstadt Niederbayerns bezeichnet. Sie blickt auf eine lange Geschichte zurück. Seit über 8.000 Jahren siedeln dort Menschen. Zwei Geotope werden wir erkunden und einige besondere Highlights aufsuchen. Ein ganz besonderer Ort wird St. Peter mit seinem historischen Friedhof sein.
