I've wanted to run around Lake Murten from home for a long time. Although the weather today (started late morning) wasn't ideal for it... ☀️🥵☀️ But it still felt right. So I planned a route that includes some forest paths. And when it was around 40km, I rounded it up to marathon distance.

The starting point for the tour was the 🅿️ at "Col des Etroits" above Ste-Croix. Afterwards, the ascent followed over the "Petites Roches" ridge to the summit of Chasseron. ⛰️
On the descent, the route led me into the village of "Les Rasses" and then through Sainte-Croix, back to the parking lot.
