Dodgy lane along a dried up river bed (had to get off and push) and nettles either side of another path, but all in all a great day for a ride.

Stopped at The Bridge Inn, where they did us a ploughman's lunch, even though it wasn't on their menu. Very tasty, good coffee, welcoming staff. They let campervans stay overnight on the land too. £15

Lower Lliw Reservoir and Café – Mynydd Pysgodlyn loop from Penllergaer
Great ride today. Varied terrain, from quiet lanes, forest tracks and easy trail centre worthy paths, to gravel tracks around turbines... had it all with a steady climb and fast descents.

The ride was hot, hot and more hot. Stopped at Porthkerry Park for coffee, pannini and a huge bucket of chips. Found some new lanes but couldn't find the Dinas Castle which was on the map... it was probably just a mound of earth...

The Penygawse (which I didn't know and I have been there loads) has a rear enclosed garden for bikes, seating and theres a hot tub!

If you pass this way, I highly recommend a stop at the Weston Cider Farm and the Scrumpy Restaurant for coffee and cake and all sorts of food 🥲

Nice loop
