Classic Bohemian waves were on the program. It is not for nothing that it is called Rollberger Hügelland, the side valleys of the Elbe pass, only to seep away heartily somewhere in the Giant Mountains.

Course south, up the Spree. To the Lusatian Mountains and then on through the cool waves of Bohemian Switzerland - the old Chalk Sea. Volcanic cone ahoy ... and so we land at the large pond Máchovo jezero in Doksy.

Thursday steel wheel round in the south of Halle. The goal was the Wallendorfer See. In doing so, some paths were covered that I had not yet known or that I could no longer remember. I am always amazed at how much landscape is possible in the immediate vicinity of the city.
Due to the flood we got (of course) wet feet in the Elsteraue in the Gerwische area. But when do you drive through "puddles" in which fish swim? I had a lot of fun. Many thanks to the passengers and to Stefan for the beer.

Classic Thursday steel bike circuit with two guides who did not always agree on the route. Due to the vegetation-friendly weather of the last few days we unfortunately had to do without some overgrown paths. Since there was a thunderstorm shortly before our tour, it was partly slippery, which I felt directly in a narrow bend in the Küttner Busch. Danger. the Fuchsberg closes at 9 p.m. As an exception, we got two evaluation beers or shandy. I thought it was very nice to be there again.

Hello Marco, in the penultimate picture almost everyone is looking at their tires. Why?

To Leißling by train, into the Wethautal, near Utenbach briefly on the sugar beet railway line, through Osterfeld to Kistritz to the Rippach spring and along Rippach. Wethau and Rippach valleys are highly recommended: a quiet but very beautiful landscape, great field and forest paths. In Teuchern there was a coffee break at the Edeka. In Poserna (the former Saxon and unprofitable saltworks), Seeum's birthplace was inspected, and Nietzsche's in Röcken. The same goes for the Gustav Adolf monument in Lützen. From Lützen we tried as best we could to follow the Elsterflossgraben to Friedensdorf. Of course we made a stop at the Wüsteneutzsch lock ruins. From Wallendorfer See we went through domestic and therefore no longer so exciting regions for us. Great weather, no rain! But north wind doesn't matter. Great tour!

Fun round: between Saale and Elster we drove on reconditioned railway lines (clear, disused). Most of it was asphalt, a little bit of gravel and rumble path was also there. We had a lot of sun, only the last few kilometers in Halle it was raining and now there is a lot of wind in front of the balcony, lucky.
