Back home by 3.45ish, just in time to get some milk… 210miles and 6,450ft climbs. Personally I could have stayed away and gone off in another direction…

The ride from Worthing was good. 2main climbs on the ride one went up to 15% but other was 10% over the South Downs. The Downs Link is a nice ride but there are sections that would be difficult after rain or worse during rain, leaf mould and the mud is like wet silt, a smooth mud. Other section the soil

After a ride to the station to catch the Bournemouth. They must have double booked the tickets and seat reservations so many coming up no saying the seat is reserved… Finally got to Bournemouth and found the hotel. Not very busy but who would play on a beach with the wind and chilly day. Riding to Portsmouth tomorrow…

Left the hotel and it was foggy, but it was a nice temperature for riding. It was quiet until we got to near Kingston upon Thames and people had woken up and were out. Riding was slow with everyone taking up the path and not giving way to anyone. One man and his dog can take all the path up and they
