It started off coolish at 16C went into town for breakfast and away for 8.30. The Downs Link from Horsham they should be ashamed off. Roughy with stone and rocks showing through but it was the over grow stinging nettles and brambles. There was a gap of less than a meter at times, so it was stop and start

I was away early before it got hot. Got to Worthing and there was a Pride Parade very festive. Can’t believe we must be one of the few countries where you can’t walk or ride the coastline but you have to compete witha little bit of path alongside a very busy, noisy road. started out at 8.15 got to the ferry by 9.00 and found it didn’t run until 10.00. So it’s not for those working on the other shore. Got to Portsmouth and caught the ferry there, only took a few minutes to cross. The first part in the city was easy then when you come across the very big, busy dual carriage

The train was delayed and so everything was put behind. Couldn’t get the bike on earlier trains so had get the 11.26 didn’t get into Reading until 1.00. Like everything I was going around in circles getting out of the town centre. They had spent a lot of the town centre but forgot the roads, pots holes

Ride along the canal…
It was so overgrown it was dodgy in places, trees cut down and left, rubbish pulled out of canal and left around. Not really worth the hassle to use it…

It was hot today. Breakfast at 8.00 went down there were 9 people and 1 chef, 20 minutes to make coffee for everyone, then we ordered from a menu. All ordered differently. 8:50 he came back and gave us food. Laid back breakfast. Went to catch the ferry across the Thames, 10:00 starts. As I waited patiently
