This tour included a stream crossing with no paths or trails. So shoes off and nothing like in.

Another nice walk and in good company. That pleases me very much. As soon as the hiking virus catches you, it will never let you go. Thank you for sharing all of your adventures!
I don't know if you've gone home by now, but if not, I hope you enjoy the Moselle.

Today's stage led from Bruch along the Salm back to Großlittgen with a detour through Landscheid for a stop. The Salmtal is idyllic and lonely, with many narrow paths. I saw a great spotted woodpecker (the second of my trip) and a gray heron.
I passed flower meadows and lovingly tended gardens, but also some very dilapidated houses.
The peace and quiet in the Salmtal is heavenly, but especially with Landscheid there is nothing to be calm about, partly because of the fighter jets from Spangdahlem, and partly because you have to walk a short distance near the motorway.
      Overall, a nice stage.

Today I had nice company. I met Lisa last night. We just ran into each other and understood each other very well.
It only went along narrow paths, first through the Liesertal, then on the Ilgenbach, from Manderscheid to Himmerod. Yesterday we saw a deer in the middle of the Lieser under the bridge to Manderscheider Niederburg.
Today the attractions were two slow crawls (one fast and one slow) and ... drum roll !!!! ... a kingfisher 😍😍😍😍
The buzzed right under this Karl-Dingsbumsbrücke in the middle of nowhere in the Liesertal.
Later there was a view and an apple strudel Kl in the Klosercafe
Lisa then chatted up a couple, who then took me to Großlittgen and Lisa to Manderscheid in the car.
