Dive into the rocky world of the proud Hercules Columns in the Bielatal.
The wonderful valley is crossed by the small river Biela and owes its name to it. There are many breathtaking views of the sandstone formations along the way. There are many narrow paths and exciting caves to discover for little explorers.

After a hearty breakfast with a good coffee, we set off for Katzsteinfels. There are wonderfully beautiful and idyllic forest paths and the protection of the trees made it pleasantly cool. On the observation tower you could see the top of the Schneeberg 😃....
So we strolled back over the Rotstein to

On Saturday evening the two of us walked from Rosenthal to the Rotsteinhütte in Sachsenforst.
The hut is located in the middle of the forest and is only accessible to hikers or cyclists. Hiking time is approximately 110 minutes.
With a beautiful sunset between the tops of the trees, we were able to observe

Start today was the idyllic Chemnitztalradweg. It continued at the Zwickauer Mulde, straight up to the Rochlitzer Berg. If you have some time, I recommend visiting the porphyry path.
In Rochlitz, the so-called Saxon marble is over 290 million years old...pretty cool...then comes Rochlitz Castle and the

The Legends, Fairy Tales, and Song Trail in the Tharandt Forest is an easy circular walk, a magical nature experience. Our starting point was the spa town of Hartha. Along the trail, lovingly designed panels tell old legends and fairy tales from the region, bringing the forest's stories to life. At several
