Schöne und abwechslungsreiche Runde! Die Strecke bietet eine tolle Mischung aus schattigen Waldwegen und flachen Abschnitten.
Unterwegs mussten wir die Route spontan etwas anpassen, da aktuell Arbeiten im Wald stattfinden und der ursprüngliche Pfad nicht durchgehend passierbar war – mit etwas Flexibilität lässt sich das aber gut umgehen.

The Domsteig near St. Blasien proved to be an all-around successful hike today. The route was very varied and repeatedly offered new insights into the landscape and its different vegetation zones. The constant ups and downs kept the tour exciting without seeming strenuous – overall very pleasant to walk

Tip: Definitely walk counter-clockwise – this way you'll have the most beautiful views and sections perfectly in sight. Before you start, it's worth making a short detour to the Edeka right at the starting point to stock up on fresh provisions for the tour.

Today we were out and about at Schluchsee and hiked from our starting point, the parking lot at the train station, towards the Riesenbühlturm.
The route was very pleasant to walk: well-marked, partly with gravel, but consistently manageable and not too demanding.
