IS-Bláskógabyggð: Kochtöpfe & Geysire im Hochtemperaturgebiet Haukadalur
Nach den imposanten Wasserfällen Weiterfahrt in das Tal Haukadalur im Gemeindegebiet Bláskógabyggð. Im dortiger Hochtemperaturgebiet gibt es zahlreiche heiße Quellen und Geysire. Der Große Geysir ist derzeit inaktiv. Dafür bietet sein kleinerer Nachbar Strokkur, etwa alle fünf bis sechs Minuten eine spektakuläre kochende Wasserfontäne, die in die Höhe stößt.
