Only 2 weeks to go until the Shine night walk in central London, in aid of Cancer Research, so we thought we better put a few more miles in, so had the silly idea of WALKING TO LONDON 😱 instead of getting the train 🤦

Paths particularly between Iver and Iver Heath, are not great, overgrown, poorly maintained, single file walking and the traffic is all too close 😮

Well......this is meant to be a 'Rutland Waters Circuit Walk' but.....the South West, West and North Western parts of the route are yes, technically, going around Rutland Waters but you will be lucky if you get near them or even see them. Went into London on the Elizabeth Line so starts from Paddington Station and finishes at Bond Street station.
Follows a familiar easy going route through Hyde Park, working down to the Thames, working our way back towards Westminster and then back up to more central parts before walk end.

This is an easy going walk, flat for the most part, plenty of sights to see along the way, and that you can divert too if you wish, and plenty of options for food and refreshments along the whole route should you want some.

One bit of advice I would like to offer anyone looking at doing this walk, or similar, start early as this follows main traffic routes driving around the central London charging zone, so pollution can get high during peak periods.

Just a short walk today. Sort of resting the feet and legs now before the 26 mile fundraising walk through the night in Central London this coming Saturday 😮
