1 Tappa: debbo dire che non è un granché 😐...l'uscita da A Coruña molto lunga ed in mezzo al traffico, carine le Rias ma non eccezionali, nulla di eclatante. Il resto, un lungo andare sull'asfalto... Vediamo domani se ci sarà un poco più di natura. Sosta a Tabeaio: Pensione Mesia, semplice ed economico.

A Coruña, una bellissima città da passeggiare ed anche uno dei due punti di partenza del Cammino Inglese per Santiago de Compostela 👣👣 Molto belli i se tieni sul mare 🌊 che conducono all'acqua TORRE DI ERCOLE. È uno dei fari romani in funzionamento più antichi del mondo. La torre d'Ercole si trova tra l'insenatura di Orzán e il golfo Ártabro. È un faro romano dell'antica Brigantium. Risale al II secolo d.C., all'epoca di Traiano, e fu ristrutturato nel 1788 per ordine del re Carlo IV. Fu opera dell'architetto lusitano Cayo Sergio Lupo. Ha pianta quadrata, misura 68 metri e la luce che emana si scorge in mare da una distanza di 32 miglia. La torre è suddivisa in tre parti progressivamente più strette fino ad arrivare alla lanterna. Bisogna salire un totale di 242 scalini per raggiungere la parte più alta del faro, ma lo sforzo vale la pena perché consente di ammirare un magnifico panorama sulla città e la costa di A Coruña. Secondo la mitologia, Ercole tagliò la testa di Gerione ed eresse il monumento sul luogo in cui ne aveva sepolto i resti mortali.
