Today the weather was better than forecast. Therefore, with a few colleagues from Sponacts, we undertook a hike with some altitude gain from Oberdorf to Weissenstein via "Stiegenlos".

Today I ventured onto some paths unknown to me in the upper part of the canton. But after a short distance, in Lausen, I found myself right in the middle of the spring market. At first I wanted to ride around it, then I thought, oh come on, a few meters on foot, but with this huge crowd, moving forward

To round off my Lake Constance weekend, I went for a ride on Sunday from Engen via Tuttlingen. A somewhat unspectacular tour, yet with very beautiful paths through fields and forests. Now and then, great views of the Swiss Alps.

On the way, the Easter Bunny even crossed my path.

Today I started in drizzling rain. First, I took the ferry to Meersburg and from there, flat along the cycle path towards Kloster Birnau. A short climb to the monastery there, and then on paths and trails (partly quite marshy) over the hills to Überlingen and on through idyllic landscapes to Ludwigshafen

Today's tour first led me on cycle paths through Konstanz and Tägerwilen. Soon it turned off to the left and steeply upwards over a ridge and mostly through the forest. The first trails were not long in coming. Once I suddenly found myself in the middle of the thicket and no trail in sight far and wide

To kick off my "Lake Constance Easter Weekend", I undertook a very varied tour in the Schaffhausen hills today.

Wake-up call was at 04:15. First, I went to Zurich Airport (to drop off Claudia), then to Diessenhofen (start 09:15).

From there, the tour first led to the German side and then soon into higher

Due to the uncertain weather, I initially only wanted to do a short loop somewhere in the direction of Basel and back today. Somehow, I was then compelled to explore the Buchsbau-Trail - unfortunately from the wrong side. From Grenzach, it's too steep to ride through. So, a small detour, then over Chrischona

Wonderful tour from Jona towards Bachtel over several trails with a fantastic view of the snow-covered Alps. Stop at BikeBox in Schmerikon for the season opening with bike testing, riding technique and general information, including bike routes. Return trip via a super nice trail through the forest back to Jona.

Completely different wind conditions today. Practically no wind, again top weather and super slope conditions. Compared to the previous day even fewer people and the white wine for the aperitif in the Spycher-Bar was also still available. Simply a top day.
